How to hide your caller ID
For a single call, dial a code before the number: *67 in the US and Canada, or 141 in the UK. Your number shows as private or unknown. On an iPhone you can also turn off Show My Caller ID in the Phone settings, and most Android phones have a Caller ID option in the call settings. It is free and legal, but it only hides your number on calls you make.
