In short

To install an eSIM on a Google Pixel, open Settings, go to Network and internet, tap SIMs, tap the plus or Add SIM, choose Download a SIM instead, and scan the QR from your SimVala dashboard. Then turn the line on and pick it for data.

  • Your eSIM QR code, open in your SimVala dashboard on another screen

Troubleshooting

No Download a SIM instead option

Make sure you tapped Add SIM first. If it never appears, update Android or check device support.

No data after setup

Turn the eSIM on, enable Roaming for the travel line, and set the eSIM as the data SIM.

Scan will not work

Show the QR on a second screen with good lighting, or enter details manually if provided.
